Memoirs Published!
Now Available: Ruth Lindemann's memoirs of her early life in Europe during the reign of the Nazi Regime and World War II. Ruth shares her experiences immigrating to the United States of America (US) and being a refugee in the US in the 1940's & 1950's.
"This memoir was written to inform my children, grandchildren, and anyone else who might be interested, about my recollections as a Jewish child in fascist Europe. I also want to relate the experiences I had during my first ten years in the United States of America."

Ruth Lindemann Speaks at Creston Elementary School (Portland, Oregon)
Ruth Spoke to students at Creston Elementary School about her journey from Vienna, Austria to the United States. She shared her story about surviving the Anschluss and Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass). Ruth also shared her experiences and the parallels with segregation laws of Nazi Germany and the United States.

Nurses from the California Nurses Educational Institute visited the Tolerance Education Center to hear Ruth Lindemann. Ruth shared her experiences from the Holocaust and how she survived as a child. She spoke about immigrating to the US as a refugee and the intolerance she experienced in the states Post-WWII.

Host Dave Miller sits down with Holocaust survivor Ruth Lindemann, who has lived most of her life in Oregon. She recently published the book, “To Survive Is Not Enough,” a fictional novel based on her own stories and those told to her by other survivors.

Ruth Lindemann visited the West Linn Book Fair at 1:30PM and spoke about her recent projects. She has been recently lecturing at theTolerance Education Center in Rancho Mirage, California. She spoke about her book “To Survive Is Not Enough”, a historical fiction based on the collection of hundreds of stories told to Ruth over the last fifty years.
